David Lloyd-Seed is an experienced Investor Relations and capital markets practitioner. He is currently Director of Investor Relations at Telefonica UK (O2). Prior to that David was IR and Corporate Affairs Director at Dixons Retail for almost 10 years which included the merger with Carphone Warehouse. Most recently he was Interim Head of IR at Severn Trent and a partner at Tulchan Communications, a strategic communications adviser. Prior to joining Dixons Retail in 2005, David worked as a corporate broker for 18 years latterly as a Director with Citi. During his time in corporate broking he advised a number of companies on IR, market related activities, fund raisings, mergers and IPOs across a number of sectors.

David Walker qualified as a Chartered Accountant with PriceWaterhouseCoopers within their Banking & Capital Markets division in London. Following this, he spent over seven years in the city at Deutsche Bank where he held a variety of roles within the Corporate Finance division, including Business Development and most recently as a Vice President in the UK Corporate Broking team. Since leaving Deutsche Bank David has worked at Hays PLC, the FTSE250 listed specialist recruitment group, where he headed up the Investor Relations & Corporate Development team, taking responsibility for all aspects of shareholder and other stakeholder communications. In October 2017 he joined British Land as Head of Investor Relations.

Emma is head of the IR practice at Maitland, the financial and corporate communications consultancy. She joined Maitland in 2004 after 14 years as an equity investment analyst in the City specialising in the retail sector, latterly at ABN Amro where she was a director of equity research. She has developed the IR advisory practice at Maitland so that it is now an integral part of Maitland's product offering across the full client base from unlisted to FTSE 100 companies. Emma studied at Bath University, where she obtained a BSc. She is currently a Board director and chair of the Policy Committee of the Investor Relations Society.

Since joining the pharmaceutical company GSK and its heritage companies from academia as a neuropharmacologist 28 years ago, Gary has had the opportunity to work for the Company in the UK and the US in a wide variety of roles. He has held positions in R&D in epilepsy medicines development and commercialisation and in corporate communications where he headed the Corporate Product Communications function for several years. Gary has been a Director in the Investor Relations team at GSK for the last 10 years. He holds an Executive MBA in Pharmaceutical Marketing, has achieved the Certificate in Investor Relations from the IR Society and in early 2017 was one of the first graduates of their Diploma in IR. In January 2018, Gary completed the Society’s DELIVER leadership programme.

Fay Dodds was former Vice President, Investor Relations at Burberry, having joined the company in September 2007 to establish its first dedicated IR team. She previously held the position of Director of Investor Relations at Experian and prior to that Director of Investor Relations at GUS plc from 2000, where she led all IR activity surrounding the eventual demerger of the group. Having graduated with a geography degree from St John’s College, Cambridge, she spent several years in industry before becoming a retail analyst at DKW and then Merrill Lynch.

James has over 15 years’ experience in financial services; prior to joining Deutsche Bank's Depositary Receipts business in 2015 he managed a portfolio of major British and Irish issuer clients for BNY Mellon’s Depositary Receipts business for 4 years. Prior to that he spent 11 years at Computershare, working in partnership with several major British ordinary share registry clients. James has a degree in Business Studies with Combined Sciences and is an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators. James was appointed Company Secretary of the IR Society in 2014.

John brings extensive international IR experience to his role at the Society having previously been Head of Investor Relations at the Singapore Exchange for 11 years. He was heavily involved in establishing the Investor Relations Professionals Association in Singapore in 2006.
John is a banker by training having started his career with Barclays Bank in the City of London before embarking on a number of corporate finance and equity capital markets roles in Asia and Europe with Barclays, ABN Amro Rothschild and BNP Paribas. He has a BA from Loughborough University, an MBA from Henley Business School and he created an IR course that he taught at the Singapore Management University from 2009 to 2012.

Ross is Assistant Director of Investor Relations at FTSE100 aerospace and defence business, Rolls-Royce plc. Originally in equity capital markets banking, Ross has over 18 years in-house corporate experience, both at Man Group plc, the alternative investment manager, where he was involved in a very wide range of capital raisings and corporate transactions, and then at UK-listed Playtech Ltd, NASDAQ-listed Edwards Group, and UK-Listed PageGroup, each time setting up the IR function. He is a graduate of Cambridge University.

Charles King has been Investor Relations Director at Worldpay, a global leader in payments processing technology and solutions for merchant customers, since November 2015. On a typical day, Worldpay processes 31 million mobile, online and in-store transactions, and in 2014 handled around 11.5bn transactions, with a total value of approximately £370bn. Worldpay supports approximately 400,000 merchants in 126 currencies across 146 countries, offering over 300 payment methods. Prior to this role, most recently he led the investor relations teams at SSP Group and Lloyds Banking Group and his previous experience includes investor relations roles at Tate & Lyle, Cadbury and Serco, and corporate broking and investment banking at Hoare Govett, UBS and Lehman Brothers.

Claire leads Rivel Research Group's operation in the UK, Europe & Asia. As well as developing Rivel’s business in these regions, Claire is a consultant on client projects where she is responsible for project development, strategic analysis and presenting to senior management teams & Board of Directors. She is also a regular speaker at investor relations events across Europe sharing insights on IR best practice. Prior to joining Rivel, Claire was the International Sales Director at IR magazine and before stepping into the world of investor relations Claire spent 10 years in the legal market working with world’s leading law firms and in-house general counsel.

Alison joined Orient Capital in June 2010 bringing a wealth of investor relations and analytical experience. Since she joined she has been instrumental in building the brand of Orient Capital initially in the UK, from forging partnerships with numerous brokers and advisers, to latterly developing the Orient Capital and D.F. King brands across EMEA. As part of ASX listed, the Link Group, she has P&L responsibility for the Corporate Markets business. Alison joined Orient Capital from Capita where for 7 years she was Head of IR Services, than latterly Managing Director of their IR Services business. Previously Alison managed the UK Client reporting team at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein, specialising in shareholder analytics for UK large/mid cap companies. Alison has a French and German Languages degree from Kingston University and started her career as a translator before working in investor relations for a mining company in Canada. She was appointed to the IR Society Board in 2014 and is responsible for chairing the Membership Committee.

Helen Parris is Director of Investor Relations responsible for the Group’s communication with the investment community, providing stock market analysts and shareholders with quality information on a timely basis so the Group can be assessed and valued appropriately by the market. Helen has been voted top IR professional in the Institutional Investor and Extel Pan European Awards for the Support and Business Services Sector. She is a trustee of the G4S plc £2.3bn pension fund.
Helen has 27 years of City experience, covering fund management, investor relations (for media, security and oil and gas companies) and stock-broking. Prior to this appointment, Helen was Investor Relations Manager at BG Group, the FTSE 100 oil and gas company. Helen has a BSc in Accounting and Financial Analysis from Warwick University and is a Member of the Society of Investment Analysts.

With over 20 years experience in corporate communications, Sallie is responsible for setting the strategic integrity of Black Sun’s Insights and external engagement. Active in industry dialogue, regularly engaging with government, regulators and professional bodies to drive the debate in better communications and corporate reporting, she is member of the Financial Reporting Council's Financial Reporting Lab Steering Committee, a board member of the Investor Relations Society as well as the Chair of the Best Practice Committee, and a member of the Communications Group at Accounting for Sustainability.
Sallie is committed to ongoing research on enhanced disclosure and transparency and engagement with wider stakeholders and monitors the FTSE 100 and other global comparators in the pursuit of best practice communications. Sallie has also provided strategic corporate communications consultancy for a range of UK and international clients such as: Coca-Cola Hellenic, DBS, HSBC, Kingfisher, Rio Tinto, Tullow Oil and United Overseas Bank.

Douglas currently heads up the Investor Relations team at Lloyds Banking Group having been a senior member of the team at Lloyds Bank and subsequently Lloyds Banking Group for the last seven years.
During this time he has been involved in all the normal Investor Relations activities including the development of the investment proposition, briefing of institutional investors and the development and production of corporate results and announcements. In addition he has been integrally involved in all the corporate actions and transactions undertaken by the Group during this period including the acquisition of HBOS, the capital raisings and the various business disposals.
Prior to joining the Investor Relations team Douglas held management positions within Group Strategy, Group Risk and Private Banking having initially joined Lloyds Bank on the graduate development programme.

Cas has been with Georgeson for over 12 years, bringing with him almost five years’ experience in international investor relations and shareholder identification. At Georgeson, he is responsible for Georgeson’s Northern European Proxy and Corporate Advisory business. Cas has a longstanding knowledge of Global proxy voting mechanics and key governance matters affecting issuers and shareholders globally. Having worked for several activists and against many more he has in-depth experience to support investors or issuers in complex, sensitive activist campaigns. Cas remains an ongoing advisor to the UK Department of Business, Innovations and Skills (Formerly the DTI) as well as the UK Takeover Panel and the London Stock Exchange on various corporate actions, and proxy related matters.
Cas graduated from SUNY Binghamton with a BA in History. He maintains membership in the ICGN and the ECGI, both governance related organisations that set the agenda for the global governance debate between issuers and shareholders. He has participated in various industry organisations including the Shareholder Voting Working Group in the UK and European Industry working committees on Target 2 Securities, Legal Certainty and the Working Group for Market Standards for General Meetings.

Fraser founded Edison in 2003. Before that, he ran Newton Investment Management’s UK smaller company fund - a top decile performer. Fraser has broad experience in equities markets working closely with Edison’s operations in Asia-Pacific, Germany as well as the UK. He holds an MBA, is a member of the CFA and is on the Membership Committee of the IR Society.
