Investment Relations Manager – Mining

Pay: £50,000 - £80,000

Working for a leading European Mining Company, The IR department's primary responsibility is to assist the Board and Management in maintaining, developing, and improving relations and communications between the Company and its stakeholders.

The role:

  • Project managing the Annual Report with Thoburns/Deloitte, including preparation of final content and liaison with subject matter experts 
  • Preparing (drafting, editing, finalising, coordinating) all stakeholder communications in line with latest regulations, developing strategic messaging with Board and advisors, including but not limited to:
    • Regular RNS updates
    • Ensuring compliance by working closely with the Company Secretary in maintaining timely and orderly disclosure
    • Annual, half year and interim production reporting
    • Board and senior management scripts
    • Media campaigns
    • Investor events 
  • Working closely with financial PR agencies, reviewing messaging for accuracy and consistency, dealing with analyst and media enquiries. 
  • Regularly monitor and review external communications, highlighting to management any significant commentary, valuations or themes:
    • Analyst coverage and analyst notes
    • Media publications
    • Bulletin boards
    • Social media 
  • Managing the website and ongoing relationship with Thoburns, ensuring all content is up to date/coordinating translation, as well as identifying, recommending and delivering processes to improve functionality
    • Coordinate development of next phase corporate website in line with current microsite
  • Organising roadshows, conferences and large corporate events such as AGM, including proxy processes
    • Managing schedules with corporate brokers and preparing related materials for Board/senior management use 
  • Ensure organized record keeping of external communications - roadshows, target lists, feedback, requests for meetings, media coverage, analyst coverage, relevant peer information. 
  • Maintaining key IR relationships, acting as interface between company and its varied stakeholder base. 
  • Driving compliance with brand guidelines and consistency across communications. 
  • Representing the Company externally at relevant sector events/conferences.
