Investor Relations - Portfolio Analyst, Private equity

Pay: c.£55,000 + benefits

A global, private equity business that invests across a range of sectors is looking for a portfolio analyst to join its IR team.

You will work with global teams to assess and analyse the valuation of funds’ investments, and present any valuation changes to the relevant stakeholders, internally and externally. You will use relevant analytical metrics and KPIs to monitor performance and valuations of the funds. You will carry out scenario analysis on funds using financial models. As part of the IR team, you will support the fundraising process,  ad hoc projects for senior management, respond to inbound queries and prepare presentations to investors. You will work with the senior analyst to develop the monthly reporting process, interpreting trends and providing value add commentary on the funds.

The ideal candidate must have previous experience working with financial models and have a strong analytical skillset. This role would suit a highly numerate individual with an impeccable attention to detail. You must thrive in a fast paced, busy environment and work within a global business with many senior stakeholders. Knowledge of investments and underlying valuations of companies is desirable.
