European Stocks Are Poised to Take Advantage of Exodus from Emerging Markets Equities - Commodore
Commodore Intelligence released a survey confirming European equities are likely to become the principal beneficiary of the ongoing investor retreat from emerging markets. The intelligence firm interviewed 200 portfolio managers managing more than $100 billion in combined holdings of European equities. The majority of investors – seventy-five percent of those surveyed – are prepared to deploy this cash into companies that have diversified revenues or operations globally.

Shaping the future of IR: a new era of opportunity and challenge This year a record number of Investor Relations Officers (IROs) from Europe’s leading companies participated in the seventh annual Citigate Dewe Rogerson Investor Relations Survey to provide the most comprehensive insight to date into changing attitudes and practices from objective-setting, reporting and guidance to analyst coverage, investor and activist engagement to the changing use of technology. Conducted between 16th January and 3rd April 2015, 193 IROs contributed to our survey representing companies from 20 countries and all FTSE industry indices.

Breaking the Consensus Impasse - ACE
This paper argues that investor relations departments capture only a small fraction of the value embedded in consensus forecasts. It characterises the current status quo as fundamentally unsatisfactory, where companies carry the burden of responsibility associated with disclosure, but with few of the benefits that should accrue from a transparent account of market expectations. The paper proposes solutions to break the consensus impasse.
