Get involved with the Debt IR Working Group

The Society’s Debt IR Working Group was established in 2025 to support IRO’s working in the field of Debt Capital Markets. The Steering Group has three main objectives: 

1. Make The Investor Relations Society membership more valuable for IROs working in DCM teams by ensuring an inclusive and relevant offering 

2. Create a network for IROs working in the DCM space to be able to share ideas and build supportive relationships, helping them thrive in their role 

3. Advocate for the essential and beneficial role investor relations expertise plays within DCM and fixed income issuance 

The group is made up of Society members who are industry experts, including current and ex IROs who have worked in the DCM space. 

Having developed Debt IR Best Practice guidance and resources, and delivered events for the Debt IR community, the group is now looking to expand and develop its work programme further.  

To achieve this, the group is seeking the appointment of additional members to support and guide this important work. Ideal profiles will bring relevant and current experience within the DCM space including treasury capital issuance, fixed income execution, credit rating/analysis or fixed income buyside.
