I am a Director at LSEG (London Stock Exchange Group), working within the Debt Capital Markets Team. My role focuses on building out the Exchange’s relationships with the advisory community, with a particular emphasis on Investment Banks and Law Firms. Over the past several years, I have been pivotal in the conversation and introduction of both the Access Bond and the Plain Vanilla Listed Bond (PVLB), which represent the most significant changes for UK Corporate Bond Issuers in over two decades. My career in Debt Capital Markets spans more than 30 years, and I’ve had the privilege of working at some of the most respected institutions in the sector, including BNP Paribas, Barclays, UBS, Citi and others. I’m passionate about innovation in the market and enjoy collaborating with industry partners to drive progress.
James Flanagan manages Debt Investor Relations and ESG Financing at National Grid. He joined the company’s Treasury team in August 2024, having spent 6 years in National Grid’s Equity Investor Relations team covering the US part of the business.
Prior to joining National Grid in April 2018, James managed the Government Affairs, Policy and Regulation team at ENGIE UK. He has held roles in Risk Management, Investor Relations and electricity market analysis at International Power and GDF Suez, having first joined the industry in 1998 as a graduate at National Power plc.
Lukas is a Vice President in NatWest’s UK Debt Capital Markets team, bringing over seven years of DCM experience across a broad range of sectors and structures, including senior and hybrid capital. Lukas has advised corporate clients such as Vodafone, BP, Unilever, Toyota Europe, and British American Tobacco on bond issuances. Prior to joining NatWest, he worked at RBC Capital Markets, focusing on Northern European Automotive and Industrial clients.
