Director or Associate Director, Investor Relations

Our client is a well-established and highly regarded Investor Relations advisory firm who seeks a client-facing Director to lead IR delivery for a portfolio of clients and act as a senior adviser to Boards and executive teams.

This role will develop and execute IR strategies, crafting and communicating clear equity messaging and leading investor targeting and engagement programmes. You will be advising on results and reporting best practice, and supporting transactions including IPOs, M&A and takeovers. You will also contribute to new business development and pitching, including across Europe, while leading and developing high-performing client teams.

The ideal candidate will have experience of in-house IR, and is ready to broaden their exposure and step into a more senior, advisory-focused and Board-facing role. You will bring strong financial acumen, including the ability to build and interrogate financial models, alongside a professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CFA preferred). A strong understanding of equity markets, regulation and disclosure requirements is essential, as is confidence engaging with institutional investors and sell-side analysts.
