The Investor & Issuer Forum brings together asset owners, asset managers, listed companies, and wider ecosystem partners to improve alignment across the UK equity investment chain. Through practical initiatives, research, showcases, and market-wide engagement, we aim to strengthen stewardship, enhance dialogue, and support long-term sustainable value creation.
We are a small, growing organisation with a highly ambitious agenda. Our work has visibility at senior levels across the UK market, and this role will sit at the centre of it.
Role Purpose
To support the Managing Director in driving the Forum’s programme of work across research, stakeholder engagement, communications, and project delivery.
This is a high-exposure, high-development role suited to a fast-learning, motivated individual who wants responsibility early and thrives in a dynamic, small-team environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Stakeholder Engagement
- Support relationship-building across asset owners, asset managers, corporates, intermediaries, regulators and trade bodies.
- Prepare briefing materials for meetings and track key interactions.
- Coordinate outreach for showcases, roundtables and project meetings.
- Help maintain accurate and up-to-date stakeholder records.
2. Research & Analysis
- Conduct research on stewardship, governance, market developments and investment chain dynamics.
- Prepare succinct summaries, insights, and briefing notes for Steering Committee and Working Group discussions.
- Contribute to major I&IF workstreams and research projects.
3. Project & Programme Management
- Manage timelines, actions, and deliverables across multiple concurrent workstreams.
- Support the MD with planning, coordination, documentation, and follow-up.
- Keep trackers, project plans and CRM systems in good working order.
4. Communications & Content Support
- Assist with drafting LinkedIn posts, newsletters, event summaries, and speaker briefs.
- Support production of presentations, graphics, and event collateral.
- Ensure clarity, consistency, and quality across internal and external communications.
5. Event Support
- Coordinate logistics for virtual and in-person events.
- Prepare agendas, speaker briefs, joining materials and follow-up notes.
- Support on-the-day delivery, ensuring a smooth experience for senior participants.
6. General Support Across a Small, Growing Team
- Step in wherever needed: from admin support to strategic input.
- Operate with energy, ownership, and a willingness to “roll up sleeves”.
About You
We are looking for a high-potential fast-tracker - someone ambitious, curious, and eager to take on responsibility early.

- Outstanding written communication and attention to detail.
- Confident engaging with senior stakeholders.
- Curious, positive, and eager to learn about UK equity markets, stewardship and the investment chain.
- A natural connector who enjoys bringing people together.
- Comfortable in an evolving, entrepreneurial environment.
- Thrives on responsibility, pace, and variety.
Desirable
- 1–3 years’ experience in a relevant field (research, communications, corporate affairs, professional bodies, think tanks).
- Familiarity with LinkedIn and digital communication tools.
- Experience in events or project coordination.
- An interest in governance, stewardship, and capital markets (knowledge helpful but not essential).
