The IR Society's 2019 annual conference 'IR: Leading change; driving value’ will take place in London on Tuesday 18 June 2019. This one-day event provides unparalleled opportunities to learn, keep up to date and network with peers.

After a year of considerable political, market and regulatory change, the Annual Conference will explore ways in which IR can adapt and overcome these challenges to fully exploit the value of the public markets and help lead our companies to win the competition for capital. The IR Society is delighted to welcome back Evan Davis, a Fellow of the IR Society, as conference host again in 2019.

IR: Future-proofing business

The IR Society’s 2018 Annual Conference was entitled ‘IR: Future-proofing business’. With an attendance of over 370 delegates, keynote speakers included Douglas Flint, former group chairman, HSBC, and Sir Michael Rake, Lead Independent Director of Worldpay Inc, as well as other speakers from the investment community. The IR Society was delighted to welcome back Evan Davis, a Fellow of the IR Society, as conference host for the eighth year running.

Throughout the day, the Annual Conference focused on how Investor Relations can help future-proof businesses and considered how best practice IR can influence a company’s strategic thinking. Supported by views from the C-suite, the Boardroom and IROs, as well as the buy- and sell-sides, the conference addressed the important trends in Investor Relations including the growth of ESG and market disruption due to the impact of changes in regulation, market structure and technology.
