A European headquartered FTSE 250 are looking to appoint a new Head of IR & Communications to report directly in to the Group CFO, based in London.
The role requires representing the company as the day to day contact for all IR matters, leading and executing the IR strategy and all aspects of IR and Communications. You will work closely with the CEO and the C-Suite and must network with all areas of the business. You will maintain and develop strong relationships with investors, analysts, brokers, media agency etc and oversee all materials that are delivered externally. You will manage the half year and annual results process, quarterly trading updates, capital markets days, ARA and other market communications. You will lead investor roadshows and meetings and maintain an appropriate IR engagement plan. You will work with the UK and international media and monitor events in the news. You will be required to keep the Board and Senior Management informed of all relevant matters including changes in share price and share register movements and market feedback.
The ideal candidate must have prior inhouse IR experience and be a strong story-teller with extensive capital markets experience. Experience with European businesses would be an advantage. The role will require an element of travel, to the business headquarters and to investor meetings.

Investor Relations Executive
Pay: £60-65,000/annum, dependent on experience

This is an opportunity to join a busy, award-winning Investor Relations team for Kenmare Resources plc, a London and Irish-listed mining company, based near London, UK. Reporting to the Head of Investor Relations (IR), the successful candidate will gain experience of all aspects of investor relations, in addition to media relations, digital communications and internal communications.
Job summary
The primary function of this role is to support the creation and consistent presentation of Kenmare’s investment case to the investment community. The role is focused on gaining and retaining investor confidence, in addition to monitoring and presenting to the Head of Investor Relations and senior management the opinions of the investment community regarding the Group’s performance. The successful candidate will ideally have strong financial acumen and experience working in investor relations or another capital markets-focused role.
The role also involves communicating effectively with Kenmare’s other stakeholders including, but not limited to media, employees, lenders and members of the Moma Mine’s neighbouring communities and host country governments.
Key responsibilities
- Supporting the development of IR messaging based on operational, financial and sustainability-focused changes within the business
- Supporting the establishment of the optimum type and mix of shareholders, and creating that mix through a variety of targeted initiatives in line with the IR plan
- Alongside the Head of IR, acting as a key point of contact for the investment community and supporting Kenmare’s relationship with sell-side analysts, including reviewing financial models and compiling consensus forecasts
- Working closely with Kenmare’s Product Marketing team to gain a thorough understanding of the Company’s product markets
- Monitoring mining/titanium minerals sector news flow and presenting it to the Head of Investor Relations and senior management
- Co-ordinating the development and execution of the Annual Report, including managing the relationship with the design agency and drafting content, and supporting the creation of all other corporate materials
- Ensuring the corporate website is up to date, including working with the team in Mozambique to update the Portuguese website, and managing the Company’s social media accounts
- Organising investor roadshows, site visits to the Moma Mine and conference participation, including booking meetings and liaising with brokers and other advisors
- Managing the Company’s engagement with the media, including liaising with Kenmare’s Dublin-based PR advisor, organising management interviews with the international trade and investment press, and providing responses to press enquiries
- Supporting the development, monitoring and management of performance metrics for the IR function
- Providing feedback to management regarding the investment community's perception of Kenmare’s operational, financial and sustainability performance
- Supporting the Head of Investor Relations in any other required activities
Requisite skills and experience
- 3-5 years working in IR or another capital markets-focused role (sell-side research, banking etc)
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities, with fluency in English
- Financial literacy and strong numerical skills – a financial qualification would be advantageous
- Ability to work to a high degree of accuracy and to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- High level of competency in Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint and Word and with good overall IT skills
- A thorough understanding of the capital markets and the obligations of listed companies
- Drive, initiative and proven experience of taking ownership of projects
- Strong work ethic and ability to work autonomously
- Creative and innovative approach, balanced with the ability to work within Kenmare’s existing brand guidelines
- Experience of working in the mining sector would be advantageous but is not required

Director of Investor Relations (Interim and Permanent)

A FTSE 250, well known within its sector, is looking for a Director of Investor Relations, based in London to lead the active Investor Relations function.
This role reports to the CFO and will work closely with the CEO and the management team, managing the delivery of the IR strategy. You will be the key point of contact delivering messaging to investor, analysts and other external stakeholders. You will work closely with the corporate brokers and ensure management and the board are kept up to date with market feedback, sector changes and movements in the share price and register. You will draft the results announcements’ ensuring the messages are simple and consistent and you will take ownership of the Annual Report. You will manage a proactive IR programme of engagement with investors, including roadshows, conferences and presentations, ensuring existing and prospective investors have regular company contact. You will work with all functions within the business and must have strong interpersonal skills, build trustworthy relationships and enjoy working under pressure.
You will operate in a fast-paced business, in this high profile role, navigating challenges. There is a pre-requisite for the role that you must have worked in a FTSE listed business leading an IR function before to be considered for this shortlist. This role requires someone with experience and maturity, who is calm under pressure who can delve in, roll sleeves up and manage the tactical aspects of a lean team as well as creating and delivering on the strategic priorities of the IR function.

We are hiring for a Head of IR & Corporate Development for a multinational, dual listed, micro-cap business based in London.
The role reports to the CFO and will have a huge amount of exposure to the CEO and Board. You will take responsibility for the delivery of the IR programme including all market communication and engagement with analysts, investors and brokers. You will represent the company as a spokesperson globally for capital markets interaction. This hybrid role will include ownership for the corporate development function which will involve preparing ongoing market analysis, identifying market trends, working closely on transactions for potential growth, fundraising and capital allocation priorities, and driving strategic priorities.
Following some extremely successful years, the business has had a tough period lately and made some strategic changes to enhance the future of the business and this inflection point is an exciting time to join and be part of the next phase of growth. The operations of the business are international therefore there will be an element of travel with this role, in addition to investor roadshows.
The ideal candidate must have prior experience in IR or capital markets with strong financial expertise (modelling and valuation techniques are an advantage) and excel at stakeholder management and relationship building. You must be a strong storyteller with an ability to simplify communications for a range of audiences. This is a very hands on role, combining strategic and tactical elements and will be well suited to someone who has worked in a small company environment.
