The IR Society's Informed magazine continues to be one of the most popular benefits of membership and the main reason for its enduring popularity is the extremely high quality of the content - and that is almost entirely down to you, our members!
About Informed
Informed is the quarterly journal of the IR Society. It is primarily distributed to the IR Society’s 800 members in print or digital format.
Each issue of the magazine includes IR Society news, policy updates and industry news, topical articles and one or two special features. Most of the topical articles and content for the special features is provided by IR Society members, either working in-house as members of IR teams or working for the many companies who support and advise IR teams. All the articles are written from a topic-based thought leadership perspective which helps to keep the content balanced and impartial.
Anyone can contribute to Informed at any time, although we do prioiritse content from IR Society members. If you have an idea for an article, a series of articles or a special feature, please do get in touch. If you are interested in submitting an article we ask for a brief synopsis of your planned article, so that we can avoid similar content, and whether it will be one or two pages. A one-page article is approx. 500 words and a two-page article is approx. 1,000 words (or 800 words plus graphics). Once we receive the article our publisher will set it into the house style and send you a proof for approval. Please also supply a hi-res photo of the author, along with their name, job title and email address.
Contribute to Informed 125 - Winter 2024
We are currently asking for article ideas for the Winter 2024 edition, which will be our 125th edition of the magazine. Articles can be topical or timely, or can be part of one of our special features. The special features in this issue will include:
- What the change in Government will mean for IR
- Innovation in IR
- A review of the 2024 IR Society Best Practice Awards
