New Training Courses Announced
To ensure that our professional development portfolio remains up to date and relevant to the educational needs of our membership, we are pleased to announce two new courses being added to our training portfolio from November 2024, Demystifying Financial Statements and Concepts and Valuation Fundamentals for Investor Relations.
To ensure that our professional development portfolio remains up to date and relevant to the educational needs of our membership, we are pleased to announce two new courses being added to our training portfolio from November 2024, Demystifying Financial Statements and Concepts and Valuation Fundamentals for Investor Relations.
These courses are developed from the former two-day Demystifying Company Accounts and Valuations course and will simplify the course learning objectives.
Demystifying Financial Statements and Concepts is targeted at those new to IR and financial accounting and Valuation Fundamentals for Investor Relations is for individuals with financial literacy seeking a greater understanding of valuation.
Demystifying Financial Statements and Concepts is a one day course that provides the foundation financial literacy knowledge needed to understand a set of accounts and be able to answer questions from analysts, investors and the financial press. This is a dedicated supporting course for the Certificate in Investor Relations. This course is next being hosted in-person on Wednesday 13 November.
Valuation Fundamentals for Investor Relations is a hands-on course providing an in-depth understanding of how financial analysts and investors look at and value companies. It is suitable for IR practitioners who have a sound understanding of accounting, an interest in valuation and basic excel skills. This course is a useful precursor to the Financial Modelling training. This course is next being hosted in-person on Tuesday 26 November.
