The Investor Relations Society announces the appointment of Matthew Hall as Chief Executive Officer
The Investor Relations Society is pleased to announce the appointment of Matthew Hall as Chief Executive Officer.

London - The Investor Relations Society (IR Society) is pleased to announce the appointment of Matthew Hall (Matt) as Chief Executive Officer. Matt will join the Society on 20 October 2025 and will succeed Laura Hayter who stepped down as CEO at the end of August, having been with the Society since 2011. Laura will be working with the IR Society in the interim period to help support an orderly transition.
Matt joins from UK Finance, where he has held Director roles across membership and programmes. Prior to joining UK Finance, Matt undertook several strategic and operational roles for representative membership organisations within financial and professional services, including TheCityUK, the Chartered Insurance Institute, and the CQF Institute. Matt has an MBA from Bayes Business School.
