Our high-profile and prestigious client within the sports sector is looking for a Shareholder/Investor Relations Analyst to join its dynamic team within this privately opened company. The position is based an hour north of London, in Oxfordshire.

In this role, you will be responsible for the delivery of clear and impactful business performance reporting and crafting stories, helping shape how performance insights are communicated to key internal and external stakeholders. You'll be preparing detailed reports to a board of mixed specialities, making it essential that information is concise, clear, and easy to interpret. In collaboration with senior stakeholders , you will enhance how KPIs are tracked and how insights are delivered with efficiency and accuracy, contributing to wider business performance reviews. The role is embedded in a high-performing and fast-moving team that values detail, proactivity, and accountability.

The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of business and financial analysis, excellent attention to detail, and experience producing polished board-level reports. You’ll be highly organised, and comfortable liaising with senior stakeholders. A team player and a natural communicator, you’ll be as capable explaining performance metrics to non-finance audiences as you are building out dashboards and spotting trends in complex data. A passion for the sports industry will be an advantage.

Investor Relations Manager, FTSE 100

A well-known, large cap TMT business is looking to appoint an IR Manager into the team, reporting to the VP Investor Relations based in London.

The role will require supporting all aspects of the IR function, and working closely with the IR Director. You will assist with managing the relationships with sellside analysts, reviewing models and maintaining an up to date consensus model. You will be heavily involved in the production and delivery of quarterly, half yearly and full year results materials including press releases, presentations, scripts, Q&As and the Annual Report. You will carry out analysis and identify new investor targets and maintain relationships with shareholders. You will manage the website and update accordingly, and will be a key point of contact for investor and analyst queries day to day.

The ideal candidate must have a strong financial background and excellent communication skills. You must be a team player and be able to also work independently. You will need a high attention to detail and have had previous exposure to IR, either via inhouse IR or ECM/Equity Research.  This is a role for a hungry individual who is keen to learn and develop and work hard.

 Key responsibilities (including but not limited to):

  • Effective IR programme: supporting all areas of investor engagement (including management and optimisation of the investor CRM platform, targeting, screening, preparation of briefing notes); support engagement with sellside analysts (including consensus management); monitor IR best practice, regulation and peer group activity
  • Financial calendar & events: manage financial calendar and capital market events including annual results, earnings calls – from strategic input to overseeing all logistical elements
  • External materials & reporting: drafting of investor presentations, earnings releases, scripts, Q&A documents; project management, coordination across corporate functions and core content creation including Annual Report & Sustainability
  • Corporate narrative: Create and manage a content calendar that tells the Diploma story across all channels, including LinkedIn, website and video
  • Website management: Day-to-day responsibility for the corporate website ensuring timeliness and accuracy; and managing website upgrades and projects
  • Production: creation of assets, including coordinating video and photography shoots, and basic design and editing of images and video

Experience:

  • 5+ years’ experience in in-house investor relations / corporate communications
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distil complex financial information into clear and compelling narratives
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with investor relations platforms and reporting tools
  • Willingness and ability to travel within the UK and internationally
  • Experience managing and briefing external agencies

Advantageous but not essential:

  • Experience in media and PR
