Investor Relations Analyst/Associate

A dual listed, internationally headquartered large cap business in the natural resources sector, is looking to strengthen its London team and appoint a new Investor Relations Associate/Analyst, working directly with the Head of IR.

You will work alongside the team to deliver the IR objectives and strategy and develop close working relationships with the global sellside covering analysts. You will assist in managing the company’s consensus, analyse changes in the share register, be responsible for peer and market monitoring and respond to analyst and investor queries. You will be integral in the preparation of the results materials including press releases, presentations, scripts as well as ad hoc materials for investor events and roadshows. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and have exposure to the senior leadership. This is a broad role where you will have full exposure to a busy IR team. The role sits as part of a bigger IR team of c.5 people, with the Head of IR in London and the rest of the team in North America so you may need some flexibility around working hours. The London office is small with an enviable culture and work environment.

The ideal candidate needs to have a strong financial literacy and experience in Capital Markets and/or IR would be advantageous. You must thrive in a busy environment and be flexible to travel. You must be a self-starter with a hunger to develop and learn. You must excel in communications, both verbally and written.
