A pan European, FTSE 250 business is looking to strengthen its IR team and appoint an IR Manager, based in London, reporting to the Head of IR & Communications.

The role is a newly created role and will have responsibility for drafting announcements, presentations and other high quality materials for financial results. You will also lead the Annual Report process, engaging with various internal stakeholders and design agency. You will take lead on investor targeting, as well as analysing existing share ownership and register changes – reporting in board papers. The business is culturally and geographically diverse and therefore you must be a strong communicator and thrive at building relationships. You will maintain strong relationships with the sellside analysts, ensuring their forecasts are relevant, consensus is maintained,  and their understanding of the growth drivers and strategic direction of the business is accurate. The team is lean and you will have a varied and broad role, with lots of exposure to stakeholders. The HQ of this business is in Europe, and you will be required to travel to the head office once a month.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in investor relations or capital markets and excellent verbal and written communications. You must be familiar with company valuation methods and financial analysis. This is a busy role and you must be able to work well under pressure at certain times of the financial calendar.
