Investor Relations is a broad-ranging role, in which you will have a diverse range of practical skills to master in order to successfully engage with both the investment community and your internal stakeholders. This masterclass will be beneficial to both experienced in-house practitioners looking to share best practice and hear about new strategies, as well as less experienced IROs looking to understand the options available and de-code the jargon. This interactive in-person event will cover some of the most critical skills that all IR teams need to consider. The roundtable discussion format will also provide you with lots of opportunities to share thoughts and network with your peers.

Louise has a decade of experience in Investor Relations across multiple sectors and for global companies spanning UK, US and Australian listing regimes. Louise is currently Head of Investor Relations at Johnson Matthey, having joined as Senior Investor Relations Manager in 2018. Previously she was Investor Relations Manager at Janus Henderson – formerly Henderson – where she was involved in the communication of a transformational, cross-border merger of equals. Prior to this, Louise worked for a strategy consultancy having initially qualified as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG. Louise completed her MChem in Chemistry at the University of Oxford.

Since joining the team in 2023, Caroline has led the planning and delivery of IHG’s programme of investor events and roadshows. Prior to this, she held various IR and corporate communications roles at National Grid, Balfour Beatty and Network Rail.

She is particularly interested in ways to improve global investor targeting and access, often through better use of technology. Caroline has two young children and is a keen runner.

Jane is an experienced IRO with both an in-house and advisory background. Jane joined the Investor Relations team at BAT in 2023, after working in the Investor Relations team at Tesco. Originally on the sell-side, Jane worked in the City for 20 years – at Citigroup (Equity Research and Corporate Access, working in both New York and London) and then Exane BNP Paribas, providing Corporate Access and IR advisory services to their corporate clients. Jane has a PhD in Animal Behaviour from Bristol University.

Prior to joining Sodali & Co., Claire established and grew Rivel, Inc.’s European business over the last 12 years. During this time, she also served as a Board Director of the UK’s IR Society for 7 years. Her entry to the world of investor relations was through the industry’s leading publication, IR Magazine, where she was the International Business Director. However, Claire’s career commenced in the legal industry where she spent 10 years working closely with world-leading law firms and in-house general counsel.

Since its inception in 2020, he has led the EMEA corporate sales team and was instrumental in building out the corporate IR use case for the Visible Alpha consensus product. As of 2024, over 300 Investor Relations teams globally partner with Visible Alpha, now part of S&P Global, for consensus collection and market sentiment monitoring. In previous years, Antoni worked with key hedge fund and long-only Clients. Antoni holds an MA in Law from SOAS, University of London and an MA in Politics and Central & East European Studies from the University of Glasgow.

Rhian joined the Investor Relations team at Burberry in 2022. Rhian has worked on the development and execution of the Burberry IR Programme and investor targeting strategy since joining. The former of which was recognised by the IR Society at the 2023 Best Practice Awards where Burberry won Best IR Programme in the large cap category. Prior to this Rhian was on the Investor Relations team at Singer Capital Markets supporting small and mid-cap companies with their IR Programmes. Rhian has a History degree from King’s College London.

In a finance career that has spanned over 15 years, Joe also held several positions at AkzoNobel and qualified as a Chartered Accountant as part of KPMG’s Corporate Finance business.
