IR Networking: Corporate Access Breakfast

This breakfast event is aimed at those wishing to discuss corporate access issues with their peers. This informal, in-person networking event is designed to facilitate peer discussions, the sharing of ideas and to help participants build their networks.
This event is open to both IRO and Coporate Access members. Premium members can attend for free if their allowance allows; for other members a fee of £25+VAT will apply.
Please note, numbers are limited and places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. Chatham House rule will apply.
Moderator: Laura Hayter

CEO - IR Society
Laura is CEO at The Investor Relations Society. Formerly Head of Policy and Communications, Laura took on the role of CEO in 2019 and has been with the Society for over 13 years. Laura has been part of the IR community since 2001, and among other roles, she was formerly a director at the IR consultancy, Taylor Rafferty, providing IR advisory services to blue chip clients, both in London and New York. Laura’s particular interests within IR are around career progression, mentoring and professional development. She graduated from the University of Leeds, with an honours degree in German and management studies.

Investor Relations Manager, BAT
Jane is an experienced IRO with both an in-house and advisory background. Jane joined the Investor Relations team at BAT in 2023, after working in the Investor Relations team at Tesco. Originally on the sell-side, Jane worked in the City for 20 years – at Citigroup (Equity Research and Corporate Access, working in both New York and London) and then Exane BNP Paribas, providing Corporate Access and IR advisory services to their corporate clients. Jane has a PhD in Animal Behaviour from Bristol University.

Head of Investor Relations, Segro
Chair of the Events Committee.
Claire joined SEGRO as head of IR in 2018. Prior to this she spent 10 years working in corporate access origination roles at first Goldman Sachs and then Exane BNP Paribas with a focus on banks, insurance and real estate. She started her career on the equity graduate scheme at Goldman Sachs.
