IR Society Shortlisted for 2 Awards

The IR Society has been shortlisted in two categories in the upcoming Association Excellence Awards - Publication of the Year and Best Celebratory Event.

Informed has made the shortlist in the Publication of the Year category for the second time in 2025, following its inclusion at the Trade Association Forum awards in June. The great thing about Informed being recognised in this way is that whilst a huge amount of work goes into the production of the magazine each quarter from the executive team and the publisher, the majority of the content is provided by our members in the form of feature articles, interviews, event summaries and course evaluations, and we are extremely privileged to be able to rely on such high-quality submissions from such a collaborative group!

“As an IRO, Informed magazine is your go-to source of industry information. This is the one place you can go to for insightful articles written by both in-house IR and third party experts that is directly relevant to what we do day-in-day-out. This includes thought-leadership pieces, regulatory updates, introductions to new technology and interviews with leading protagonists. I learn a lot every time I read it.”

The Society’s Friends, Fellows and Advocates Reception event has also been recognised in the Best Celebratory Event category. So much of what the IR Society does on behalf of the IR community is only possible thanks to the kindness and hard work of an ever-growing group of volunteers who give their time and share their expertise with their fellow IR professionals. The Friends, Fellows and Advocates Reception was created in 2023 as a way to say thank you to and to show our appreciation to our board and committee members, our honorary fellows, our mentors, our ambassadors, our awards judges and a whole range of other contributors, for all their hard work and support.

The Association Excellence Awards have been run annually since 2015 and were founded to recognise the essential work that associations, trade bodies, unions and professional organisations conduct on behalf of their members to ensure their voices are heard and their causes are championed.

The winners will be announced at their lunchtime Awards Ceremony at the QEII Centre, Westminster, London on Friday 7th November.
