The IR Society announces new collaboration with the Spanish IR Society for offering the CIR

The Investor Relations Society (IR Society) and The Asociación Española para las Relaciones con Inversores (AERI) have announced a new collaboration for the delivery of the IR Society’s Certificate in Investor Relations (CIR) to members of AERI.

Gary Davies, CEO of the IR Society commented,

“We are delighted to be collaborating with AERI to deliver our certification programme.  Launched over 10 years ago, the CIR has become the benchmark for the IR profession, recognised in the UK and in other international markets as the best way to demonstrate competency in investor relations.  We already have collaborations with associations in the Middle East, Asia and Latin America and we are delighted to be able to offer the program for AERI’s Spanish members”.

Javier Rodríguez Vega, Director of AERI commented,

“We are really proud of starting this collaboration with our sister organisation, the UK IR Society. Spain is a smaller market, and it’s very important for us to be able to offer our members the possibility of obtaining a certification that is so well recognised all over the world. This partnership with the UK IR Society will be key for the development of the IR function in Spain”.
