These course licences can be applied to any of the IR Society’s Core, Advanced, Specialist or CIR Revision courses as listed on the professional development course page.
A single course licence is redeemable on a single course per person (half day or full day). Courses that have 2 constituent modules require 1 course licence per module of training.
A member of the Professional Development team will contact you once per quarter with a calendar of upcoming courses and a reminder of how many course licences the named contacts on the Premium Package have access to.
Where can I view and book courses?
You can find an up-to-date schedule of our courses within the professional development course page on the IR Society website.
The Course Programme page lists our full course portfolio along with individual course synopses detailing the training outcomes and target audience. You can view any upcoming public course within the Calendar & Booking page.
You can book a course place using the ‘Book Now’ feature on the relevant Professional Development course page. In the booking form, you should select the ‘IR Society Premium Members’ option under the ‘Delegate Type’ field.
You will receive an automated email confirming that the booking has been received, followed by an email from a member of the Professional Development team confirming how many course licences are remaining along with access to course joining instructions.
Should you have any questions regarding the booking process or would like further information about any of our courses, you can contact a member of the Professional Development team at tara.mitchell@irsociety.org.uk.
Terms and conditions of course bookings
Every course booking is subject to the IR Society’s General Terms and Booking Conditions, which you can find within each of the booking forms on our website.
If you wish to transfer or cancel an existing course booking, you must advise the IR Society in writing within 14 days of the course to retain the use of the course licence. Cancellation within 14 days of the course will result in the allocation being lost.
Frequently asked questions
What can I use the course licences on?
These course licences can be applied to any of the IR Society’s Core, Advanced, Specialist or CIR Revision courses as listed on the professional development course page .
You cannot use course licences for IR Society Events or Qualifications including the Certificate of Investor Relations (CIR) registration, Diploma in Investor Relations (DipIR) or DELIVER programme.
Is there a time limit on the use of the course licences?
Yes, the course allowance must be booked and used within the Premium Package period (prior to the expiry date). We do allow a grace period of up to one calendar month to use remaining course licences should a desired course fall slightly outside of this period.
We do not allow the rolling over of course allowances from one year to another.
Can I attend more Professional Development courses if I have used all the free course allowance?
Once all the course licences have been expended for the given Premium Package period you can purchase further professional development course places at the member’s rate. Prices are found on the respective course page.
Can I share my course licences with someone who is not a nominated member?
We will allow you to share your course licences with a colleague at your organisation who is not a nominated member. Please advise the IR Society Professional Development team when sharing a course licence.
Once all the licences within a Premium Package have been used, the nominated contact can purchase further training at the advertised member rate but any colleagues that are not named contacts will need to pay the advertised non-member rate.
