The role of the mentor
A unique feature of the Diploma is the provision of a mentor who will be one of the senior IROs in the industry, and often a current or former board member of the IR Society. The role of the mentor is to be available to provide advice and support on request to a candidate and to help guide on preparation and readiness to sit the Diploma exam.
Typically, you can expect to have at least three meetings/calls with your assigned mentor.
- After committing to the Diploma in IR qualification
- Before the written exams, to check progress and answer any remaining questions
- Before the presentation module.
