The role of the mentor

A unique feature of the Diploma is the provision of a mentor who will be one of the senior IROs in the industry, and often a current or former board member of the IR Society. The role of the mentor is to be available to provide advice and support on request to a candidate and to help guide on preparation and readiness to sit the Diploma exam.

Typically, you can expect to have at least three meetings/calls with your assigned mentor.

  1. After committing to the Diploma in IR qualification
  2. Before the written exams, to check progress and answer any remaining questions
  3. Before the presentation module.
