Chair of the Events Committee

Claire joined SEGRO as Head of Investor Relations in October 2018. Prior to this she spent 10 years working in Corporate Access Origination roles at first Goldman Sachs and then Exane BNP Paribas with a focus on Banks, Insurance and Real Estate. She started her career on the Equity Graduate scheme at Goldman Sachs and has a BSc in International Business from the University of Warwick.

Siobhán Andrews

Interim Head of Investor Relations, Smiths Group

Siobhán joined Smiths Group in September 2023 as Interim Head of Investor Relations. Prior to that, Siobhán was Head of Investor Relations and Corporate Affairs at Spectris, a FTSE 250 industrials company, which she joined in 2016 and was IR Manager and then Deputy Head of IR at BG Group, a FTSE 100 oil and gas company. Before that, Siobhán was a sell-side analyst covering the utilities sector at UBS and also worked on the buy-side at a UK institutional investor. She graduated from City University with a BSc in Economics.

Angela Catlin

Head of Investor Relations, Corporate Affairs and Brand, The Co-operative Bank

Angela joined The Co-operative Bank in July 2023 as Head of Investor Relations and her role was expanded to include media and PR, partnerships, ESG and Brand in June 2024. Before that Angela was Associate Director of Investor Relations at Lloyds Banking Group, where she worked in a variety of roles spanning 12 years. Angela is a chartered accountant and holds of the CIR qualification.

Senior Investor Relations Manager, Johnson Matthey

Louise joined Johnson Matthey as Senior Investor Relations Manager in 2018. Previously she was part of the Investor Relations team at Janus Henderson – formerly Henderson – where she supported the communication of a transformational, cross-border merger of equals. Prior to this, Louise worked for a strategy consultancy in the financial services sector having initially qualified as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG. Louise completed her MChem in Chemistry at the University of Oxford.

Caroline Dawson

Investor Relations Manager, IHG Hotels & Resorts

Since joining the team in 2023, Caroline has led the planning and delivery of IHG’s programme of investor events and roadshows. Prior to this, she held various IR and corporate communications roles at National Grid, Balfour Beatty and Network Rail.

She is particularly interested in ways to improve global investor targeting and access, often through better use of technology. Caroline has two young children and is a keen runner.

Jane Henderson

Jane is an experienced IRO with both an in-house and advisory background. Jane joined the Investor Relations team at BAT in 2023, after working in the Investor Relations team at Tesco. Originally on the sell-side, Jane worked in the City for 20 years – at Citigroup (Equity Research and Corporate Access, working in both New York and London) and then Exane BNP Paribas, providing Corporate Access and IR advisory services to their corporate clients. Jane has a PhD in Animal Behaviour from Bristol University.

Robert Irvin is a founder and director of RMS Partners, a leading investor engagement consultancy.  He has been advising companies on investor engagement for over 15 years.  Prior to founding RMS Partners in 2017 he was a director at Capital Access Group and previously head of client management and investor access at Broker Profile for nine years.  Robert holds an MA in Economics and Business from Edinburgh University, a Graduate Diploma in Law and has also completed the Bar Vocational Course.

Alistair is an Investor Relations and Corporate Communications specialist with over a decade of experience advising management teams of UK and international companies.

He has helped management teams strengthen their relationships with investors, build support for their strategies and compete effectively for investment. He has successfully steered companies through critical moments including profit warnings, transactions, M&A, IPOs, placings, disposals, CVAs, administrations, restructuring programmes, crises and activism. He also has particular expertise across ESG, digital communications, crisis and issues management.

He holds both The Certificate and The Diploma in Investor Relations. Alistair has a degree in International History and Politics from the University of Leeds.

Angela Kipping

Deputy Head of Investor Relations, Informa

Angela is Deputy Head of Investor Relations at Informa.  She joined Informa as Deputy Group Treasurer in 2016 before moving to her current role at the beginning of 2019.  Previously she was Head of Treasury at Misys and worked at in the treasury team at Thomson Reuters for 7 years.  She is a qualified accountant and treasurer and holds a BSc in Mathematics with Modern Languages from University College London.

Nick is a Senior Account Manager at Georgeson, part of ASX listed Computershare. He has worked in the Proxy Solicitation industry for the last 11 years. Nick supports Georgeson’s clients across the EMEA and APAC regions to engage with their shareholders regarding voting ahead of Annual General Meetings, Mergers and in connection with Activist shareholder campaigns. Nick has an MA in Modern Languages from Cambridge University.

Director, Hanover Comms

Ailsa heads up the financial communications team at Hanover supporting clients develop messaging to strengthen their relationships within the financial industry. She has navigated CVAs, restructures, positive and negative financial results as well as transaction communications for some of the UK’s largest household names.

More broadly, Ailsa is a corporate and crisis communications specialist. She has managed several CEO profiling programmes for businesses that have a particular policy ask. She has devised and led on campaign communications, narrative development and policy communications for clients including Amazon, Barclaycard Payments, Budweiser Brewing Group, Microsoft, Pizza Hut and Sky. Prior to Hanover Communications, Ailsa sat in the Corporate & Financial team at Edelman. She graduated from the University of Leeds, with a BA Honours degree in Latin & Spanish and also holds the IR Society Certificate for Investor Relations.

Harry Rimmer: Joined S&P Global’s Issuer Solutions team within the Market Intelligence division 4 years ago after spending several years practicing as a litigation lawyer and subsequently running two tech startups. Harry is a relationship manager and leads S&P’s commercial efforts to support UK Listed companies and their IR teams by providing them with shareholder intelligence and workflow solutions. Harry has been involved with the UK IR Society for the past 4 years and joined the Events Committee just over a year ago.

Nick Stone

Senior Vice President and Global Head of Investor Relations, GlaxoSmithKline

Nick has more than 20 years of experience in the international biopharmaceutical sector and 10 years of extensive capital markets experience. He is currently Senior Vice President and Global Head of Investor Relations at GSK Plc, where he is accountable for delivering a fully integrated outreach programme across Europe, the Americas, and Asia Pacific that engages analysts, investors, and other stakeholders. Before joining GSK, Nick was part of the investor relations team at AstraZeneca Plc and previously worked in its commercial, business development, and corporate strategy teams. Nick began his early career as an associate lawyer and graduated with a bachelor’s degree with honours in Law and Criminology.

Anneka joined the IR Society in May 2024 as Events Manager. Her most recent role was at the Association of Foreign Banks as Senior Practice, Events and Training Associate. Prior to that, she has worked in various membership organisations such as the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry, British Council for Offices, and Industry and Parliament Trust, managing a wide variety of events and training programmes. Anneka has a degree in Event Management from Bournemouth University. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her family.

Laura is CEO at the IR Society. Formerly Head of Policy and Communications, Laura has been with the Society for more than ten years. Laura has over 19 years’ experience in the Investor Relations industry. She joined The IR Society in 2011, and among other roles, was formerly a director at the IR consultancy, Taylor Rafferty, providing IR advisory services to blue chip clients, both in London and New York. She graduated from the University of Leeds, with an honours degree in German and management studies.
